For many years, the St Kitts Blind Society   has been assisting those who are visually impaired to live with dignity and independence. The society teaches its members that the eyes are but one small window to life’s treasures.    National recently partnered with Blind Society to ensure the success of a new venture, a six month training course in musical instruments.   The programme will include lessons in the guitar, the saxophone, the keyboard, the trumpet and the flute. Yet another of the infinite number of hidden windows in the mind’s eye has been opened to the members of the Society. National recognises that blindness and visual impairment need not be a hindrance to personal development. Vision rather than sight is the best manifestation of creative imagination and the primary motivation of human action. NATIONAL BANK  applauds the Society of the Blind for its insight in undertaking this initiative for its members.
